In the waiting

“I just love waiting” said no one ever! lol No one likes waiting… especially when things come so easy now a days! One thing I’ve learned in my journey with God is that patience is truly a virtue! It is in the waiting that God sees and knows that you are truly serving Him! God wants to see that you are seeking Him fervently and praying not for what He can and will give you, but because you truly love Him and want to be in His presence! A lot of people don’t have that patience. I use to love reading the book of Job in The Bible because Job was a true man of God and he had everything at one point in his life and he ended up loosing it because the devil told God that the only reason Job was serving Him was because God had given Job everything… and God was like nah, Job loves me… do whatever you want with him, just don’t kill him and watch Job still be loyal to me. And sure ‘nuff the devil tried Job and made him lose everything and gave him a terrible disease! It got to a point that his “friends” told him to give up on God and die so he could stop suffering… Job was like “nope! I know God is going to do something great… the devil just trying it”. Fast forward to the end of the story… Job NEVER gave up on God and while he waited on God to do His work and prove the devil wrong, he prayed and still praised God despite what was going on with him and around him. God ended up returning everything Job had lost in multiple folds!!

What are you doing while you’re waiting on God to do His will for you? Have you given up on God? Have you cursed God? Have you pretty much taken the “L” and let the devil win? I’m here to tell you… DON’T GIVE UP ON GOD! Because God has not given up on you! He wants you to continue to seek Him and praise Him! He wants you to know that it’s not over despite what it may look like or what others are telling you! While you’re in your season of waiting look back and be grateful of what God has done for you in the past! God is not a man that He should lie! The same God that parted the Red Sea and did so many other miraculous things in the Bible is still the same God and He is ready and able to do miraculous things in your life as well!!
